Nominate for The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2019

It’s that time of year where you need to get your nominations submitted for the 2019 Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work done in their own communities. It was created in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of the Queens coronation. It is the equivalent of an MBE for volunteer groups. Winners need to display excellence.
Guidance notes can be obtained on line. Any group doing volunteer work that provides a social, economic or environmental service to the local community can be nominated for the award. Each group is assessed on the benefit it brings to the local community and it’s standing within the community.
A flyer is attached with online details. Take a look at the Guidance Notes for further information.
