‘Tis the season to fall over…..

As the festive season swings in to full gear an ice rink has materialised in the Castle Mall Gardens, Norwich.

We popped down and took a couple of pictures (we chose a quiet time but still managed to get a couple of people skating around!)

So, do you think you’re on a par with Torvil and Dean? Have you never tried ice skating before for fear of landing on your bottom? There’s only one way to find out…..

Picture below is where you pay/ get fitted for your ice skates / realise how many will be people watching you fall on your bum.

Here’s the ice rink, below. On entering the rink don’t immediately speed towards the middle and do a double lutz – that’s just showing off! We also think copying “Dancing on Ice” moves such as the head-banger may not be wise when there are lots of people on the ice!

We’re hoping to take the kids down over the festive period. Personally I shall be clinging to the outside all the way around, perhaps stopping a while at the far side so I can enjoy the view towards the cathedral.
