Dinosaur Adventure update – Stone Age Road Race

Our kids love Dinosaur Adventure, and we think your kids will too.

Since we last visited Dinosaur Adventure a new feature has opened. Stone Age Road Race is located behind the Dinomite indoor play area, bolstering the undercover features at Dinosaur Adventure.

Stone Age Road Race is a track with quad bikes that kids (or adults accompanying younger ones) can race around the track, set against a pre-historic back-drop.

This what you get when you ask an 8 year old what he thinks of Stone Age Road Race
Well, you can go for a ride on the Stone Age Road Race. It was kind of cool because first the man put in a token and then we started racing. When I put my foot down on the peddle it went super fast and I think I was the winner!

and then the 4 year old…
I had a lovely time racing with my Daddy! Someone passed us but we got past them and then we won coz no-one else got past us!

So, they both think they won – as long as they don’t tell each other that they won we’ll be fine! Of course, if I ever race with the little one again I think I’ll control the accelerator as he drove too fast!

BONUS DINOSAUR SIGHTING! – Dippy was wandering around the park and stopped to pose for us!

During our visit we found out that Jurassic Putt (don’t think we need to explain what this is!) has closed for the forseeable future. When we played on this last year it did need a bit of TLC, so hopefully it will get some soon!
