We visited Pettitts Animal Adventure Park to get some new pictures. As we visit Pettitts at least once a year we notice when things change, and it’s been a while since anything new arrived at Pettitts, so it was a pleasant surprise to see several new things.

Let’s start with my favourite – Meet the Meerkats. As they’re one of my favourite animals it was great to see this additional feature. The photo below shows you the enclosure(which is just in front of the old pizza caravan) and an insert of some of the meerkats.

Part of the amusement arcade has been replaced by a new feature called Pettitt’s Chicken Show. Every half hour the animatronic chickens and their friends sing a few songs. In between shows you can also pop in and for pay for a joke.

The third major change at Pettitts was the addition of the Pettitts Construction Company play area. Half of the old snake slide remains and has been re-themed to match to the the sand play area, below.

There were also some smaller additions around the park, including the Alpaca feeding “machine”, new holes for feeding the goats, new seating, and some Zebu.
