Norwich City’s Russell Martin and Steven Naismith visit EACH’s Quidenham hospice

Children, young people and families supported by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) got an early Christmas present yesterday when they received a visit from Norwich City footballers.

Club captain Russell Martin was joined in visiting EACH’s Quidenham hospice by Scottish teammate Steven Naismith.

As well as chatting to families about the support they receive, the duo signed autographs, answered questions about the club and their careers and handed out Norwich City gifts.

Louise Gower, EACH Care Manager at Quidenham, said: “It was a real pleasure to host Russell and Steven, who got on fantastically well with our families, bringing a lot of smiles and laughter to the hospice.

“We really appreciate them taking time out of their busy schedules to visit and make this magical time of year that extra bit special for our families.”

EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions – currently 128 across Norfolk – and supports their family members – current 219 across Norfolk. For more information visit www.each.org.uk.
