Cricket at the Close

On the 26th of June 2016, 2pm at the Lower Close in the centre of Norwich, Steve Pymm, Rafael Bravo – French, Mark Loveday and Mark Duffy are hosting a charity cricket match in aid of the Lord’s Taverners and would love it if you could come along and spectate!

Their goal is to raise £10,000 and to create a lasting legacy for physically and mentally disabled children in Norfolk. This is a huge challenge, but one they feel can be achieved with support from the local community.

Aside from the professional and highly competitive match taking place, Virgin Wines will be providing the bubbles & Hickman’s will be providing (for a small charitable donation) afternoon tea style sandwiches and cakes.

We intend to have clear blues skies, music and laughter. It should be a real fun family day out!

If for any reason you are unable to attend the event, you might like to make a modest donation to their fund raising page.

  1. I have made my donation earlier in the month. Will there be an entrance fee on the day, as I am bringing family members, thankyou

  2. Hi Christine. We don’t think there’s an entrance fee. They will be selling food/drink & collection buckets will be going around. Good to see the sun has come out – should be good for cricket!
