Baconsthorpe Castle, which is located to the north of the village of Baconsthorpe (North Norfolk) is a fortified manor house built from around 1460 to 1486 by the Heydon family during the War of the Roses period.
It is now a ruin, and is classed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument by English Heritage.
