Another couple of weeks have passed and here we are, ready for set 3 of our favourite photos from the NorfolkPlaces archive. Here’s a link to part 2 if you missed it.
We’ll kick off with somewhere truly fabulous… Holkham Hall. This picture was taken on a review visit to Holkham Hall in 2015. This stately home is so grand and spectacular that you have to walk a long way away to get it in view.
Baconsthorpe Castle was an interesting find, and a very pleasing one at that. Looking for somewhere to visit not too far from Aylsham i scanned the map and found this place. Getting to it was a bit tricky but it was worth the journey. You can see more pictures and find out more if you read our review of Baconsthorpe Castle.
One of my personal favourites, taken way back in 2012 when the boys were only 8 and 4, getting lost in this maize maze was a lot of fun!
When visiting Eaton Park I’m often drawn towards this scene, below. This scene is so tranquil, though if you’re looking for something a bit more active there is certainly plenty to do, such as Eaton Park Crazy Golf or the miniature railway.
The photo below is from a very recent article about Swardeston Common, which we visited during summer 2018.
We hope you have enjoyed these photos. There’s more to follow over the coming weeks. Don’t forget to explore the NorfolkPlaces website. Also, if you want more photos then check out our Facebook and Instagram accounts so please follow us there.
