Santa’s Magical Journey – revisited

I’m old school and still refer to the big fella in the red suit as Father Christmas, but whatever the kids call him a visit to Santa is always special. And visiting Santa in the wonderful surroundings of Thursford is even more special.

In mid-December Mrs NorfolkPlaces and I went to see the Thursford Christmas Spectacular for the first time and had a truly wondeful evening. As we wandered around outside amongst the Christmas lighting we decided it would be a good idea to take the kids on Santa’s Magical Journey again.

Our last visit was in 2011 so it was long overdue. This time we decided to come along at night time to make the visit even more special. When you arrive and see all the lights outside it is pretty awesome. Once you get inside the experience is equally magical whatever time of day you go. And from a kids point of view you’re on your way to see Santa – it doesn’t get much more exciting than that!

Here’s a selection of photos taken during our visit- enjoy!
