Dog Show ticket winners

Thank you to everyone who entered our All About Dogs show ticket competition. The All About Dogs show is at the Royal Norfolk Showground later this month.

We really enjoyed reading about everyone’s favourite places in Norfolk to go “walkies” with their dogs. Parks and beaches that have plenty of space for dogs to run around features strongly amongst the entries, and all entries were places we know well so it would’ve been tricky for us to choose. So, it was a good job we had decided to put all the entrants in to a hat and choose randomly!

So, here we go. Drum roll please! We ‘re very pleased to announce the winners; Congratulations to Suzy Mallison and Jess Chaney. The tickets are on the way – We hope you enjoy the show!

Suzy said “Harvey loves the North Norfolk coast but Mundesley is one of his favourites. It’s sandy, long & the waves aren’t too big for a spot of paddling. The restriction in the summer months is annoying but only part of the beach is off limits, there’s plenty more of it to run about on.”

Suzy also sent this picture of Harvey frolicking in the sea too!

Jess said “Our favourite walk is our local one at Earlham Park in Norwich. It is straight from our door which is great now that Dreyfuss is getting on (he’s 15, wobbly in the hips and not good on hills or long car journeys). Earlham park offers a range of walks – everything from woods to meadows to paddling in the river for a cool down. If we feel up for a further walk we can continue following the river round to the lake at UEA. There may be cheeky squirrel pressing it’s luck (though not really a fair contest anymore!) or a friendly dog to have a ‘chat’ with. In the olden days we’ve even enjoyed chasing a kite or Frisbee!

It’s been the walk Dreyfuss (and later my children) have enjoyed the most through their lives and we’re so lucky to have it on our doorstep.
