Whitlingham Country Park is located just outside the fine city of Norwich, and includes 35 hectares of stunning open parkland and water and provides a gateway to the Broads. Whitlingham Country Park is classed as a Local Nature Reserve, which is a site of importance for wildlife, geology, education or public enjoyment.  The park encompasses the Great and Little Broads up to the banks of the River Yare, Whitlingham Woods at the eastern end of the Park, the Picnic Meadow to the south of Whitlingham Lane, Trowse Meadow and Trowse Woods.
